No opportunity for a meeting should go to waste. Accordingly, Lomé and Kigali are leveraging the 81st UN General Assembly in New York to strengthen their strategic partnership.
It was in this context that Professor Robert Dussey, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Togolese Abroad, met with his Rwandan counterpart, Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe.
The bilateral meeting resulted in the signing of three major legal instruments: a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations; a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a Joint Cooperation Commission; and a framework cooperation agreement.
These agreements mark a new phase in relations between Togo and Rwanda, reflecting a shared commitment to intensifying bilateral cooperation, fostering institutional exchanges, and working together toward continental integration.
