12 June 2010 – 12 June 2024, 14 years, day to day since the Women in Logistics and Transport Association (WiLAT) was founded. On this anniversary, the association’s founder, the Nigerian Hadja Aisha ALI-IBRAHIM, issued a video message calling on her fellow women to work together selflessly to promote the transport and logistics sector.

The 14th anniversary of WiLAT Founders’ Day is a special one. « The day marks a milestone for Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), celebrating the strength, professional achievements and unity of women in the logistics, transport and supply chain sectors, » said Ms Ali-Ibrahim.
It is a day of recognition for the collective progress and empowerment within this professional community. models, mentors and influencers.

WiLAT is the women’s branch of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), whose mission is the promotion of leadership, the empowerment of women, the participation, representation and capacity building of women in supply chain, logistics and transport, and to support their career development through mentoring.
It is present in more than 40 countries, including Togo. WiLAT-Togo is the second french-speaking branch of this association after that of Côte d’Ivoire. WiLAT-Togo was created on 17 February 2023. It is chaired by Mrs Sharone AGBO. (picture below).
